What the site is
WhatNationalDay is a free reference site about national days, holidays and observances: what they are, where they came from, and how people mark them. There are no accounts or user submissions. It is provided for general information and entertainment.
Accuracy
We work to get dates and facts right, but many observances are informal, are set by a company, a group or a proclamation, and change from year to year. Where sources disagree, a page says so. Please confirm anything that matters, such as a date you are planning an event around, a promotion or a price, with the organizer or an official source. Content is provided "as is", and we do not guarantee that it is complete, current or error-free.
Using the content
The text, layout and selection of content on this site belong to WhatNationalDay unless stated otherwise. You are welcome to:
